Research Description
My research advisor is Dr. Rhanor Gillette, and my research is currently focused on computational models of behavior. I have recently developed ASIMOV, a model for addiction, that is built upon Cyberslug software. ASIMOV includes homeostatic mechanisms in the reward circuitry of a virtual forager, which demonstrates addictive processes such as desensitization, withdrawal, and cravings. I am also interested in modeling mechanisms of synaptic plasticity.
